Professor Brian Franks
BDS (U. Lond), LDS RCS (ENG), MSc ANSI (UK) MFGDP (UK), FPFA, FEWI, ACIArb
Brian is the Programme Clinical Director & Co-Producer, MSc Specialist Practice of Clinical Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions, City of London Dental School/University of Bolton and is responsible for the Patient Assessment & Risk Management, and Reflective Clinical Practice Modules. These specialisms promote the strong emphasis of safety, competency and personal development featured in all of the Dr Brian Franks Training Courses.
Brian is a Visiting Professor, City of London Dental School for the MSC Programmes, University of Bolton. He was formerly the Clinical Lead and Senior Lecturer on the MSc in Facial Aesthetics at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Central Lancashire.
He works as a Facial/Medical Aesthetics Practitioner in Central London and is Principal of the Level 7 Accredited Dr Brian Franks Facial/Medical Aesthetics Non-Surgical Interventions Training in Association with Wynyard Aesthetics Academy.
Brian was a member of Health Education England, Cosmetic Non-surgical Interventions Expert Reference Group (ERG) regarding the provision and training for aesthetic non-surgical interventions. He is currently a member of the Medical Board of CCR (Clinical Cosmetic & Reconstructive) Expo.
Brian has worked as a Medico-Legal Expert since 1997 and is a member of the Expert Witness Institute. He is an associate of the General Dental Council being a panel member of the General Dental Council Private Patients’ Complaints Service. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Brian was the former Clinical Director, Dentistry for Bupa for over 14 years (2000 to 2014). He is a Fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy (“Fellowship of this distinguished Honour Academy is by invitation only and is limited to ethical dentists who have made a significant contribution to the profession and the community”).
He is a member of The City of London Dental School (CoLDS) Research Ethics and Review Committee (CREC). CREC is an overarching Committee of the School affiliated to the University of Bolton (UoB) for a consideration of ethical issues arising from research that involves human participants, personal data-information, clinical records, laboratory-based research including animal experimentations.
Brian is an experienced International presenter/lecturer and teacher on the cosmetics/aesthetics and dental circuits and has written numerous articles over the years for medical aesthetic and dental publications.

Valerie Rokov
Course Director
With 30 years’ experience in the field of Event Organisation and Team Management, spanning a wide variety of industries, from training to hospitality, you can expect to be in the most contact with Val, from your initial contact with Dr Brian Franks Training, up to and beyond your training.
As the co-ordinator and manager of the training courses, Val is present at all of the training modules. She works very closely with Brian on a day to day basis, in all aspect of his work including Expert Witness and the MSc Programme. As a result, she aims to ensure delegates are well informed and equipped to choose the most appropriate modules for them and their business and provide support that will help them to thrive in their new venture.
Helen Gordon

Helen is the Managing Partner of The Wynyard Aesthetics Academy LLP, with a 30 year career in the education, training and professional development field working closely with the government and local authorities. The education framework developed by Helen for The Wynyard Aesthetics Academy LLP has brought together a range of educated, qualified and experienced practitioners from across the sectors of aesthetics, dentistry, medicine, laser technology and beauty to develop a robust modular programme of accredited professional development.
Helen is also the Director of Curriculum and Admissions for the City of London Dental School.
Dr Mona Attarpour
BDS / Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions Tutor
Mona is one of the Tutor’s for Dr Brian Franks Training based in the North East of England. She graduated in Dentistry at Newcastle University in 2012 and has worked within the aesthetics industry since then. Following a stint in Australia, returned to the North East in 2014. Mona has attended extensive training courses in Facial Aesthetics, youth rejuvenation and anti-ageing, by world renowned aestheticians. Her dentistry and further aesthetics training provides an in-depth knowledge of the anatomy of the face and the relationship between component parts in the overall aesthetic appearance.

She is currently doing a Masters degree in Clinical Aesthetic Non-Surgical Intervention.
Dr Rania Savvidi

Rania is one of the Tutor’s for Dr Brian Franks Training based in Scotland. After graduating from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Rania worked for 5 years in Athens before moving to Scotland in 2011.
Passionate about continuous learning, Rania qualified in Facial Aesthetics treatments in 2012 and in 2017 she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from Eastman Dental Institute, UCL.In September 2020, Rania is commencing a Hypnotherapy course, in order to achieve a different approach to helping her patients and she is currently doing a Masters degree in Clinical Aesthetic Non-surgical Interventions.
Pam Cushing

Specialist Skin Rejuvenation Tutor

Pam is the Module Leader for the Skin Rejuventation & Enhancement Module for the MSc Specialist Practice of Clinical Aesthetics Non-Surgical Intervention, City of London Dental School/University of Bolton. She is an Independent Prescriber with over 30 years’ experience in the NHS, gained an MSc with commendation and graduated with merit in a postgraduate diploma in Aesthetics Medicine in 2004; since then she has been advancing the practice of facial aesthetics as a highly experienced and skilled practitioner. Pam specialises in the use of medical grade acids in the management of common skin disorders.
Alongside her role as Vice President of the Society of Mesotherapy and member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, Pam runs a successful private aesthetic clinic in the East of England. In 2014 Pam was introduced to the cutting edge science that forms the unique benefit behind pHformula and she established Aspire & Co limited as a skin academy, becoming the exclusive distributor of the pHformula brand in the UK.
Kerry Smith

Kerry has been a Registered Nurse since 1983 and has been running her own Aesthetic clinic in Horsham, West Sussex since 2009. She specialises in latest and advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments including Dermal fillers, Wrinkle treatments, Medical Micro-Needling, Dermapen, various Skin Peels, Plasma treatments including non-surgical Blepharoplasty.
Kerry believes strongly in offering a natural enhancement that helps patients look refreshed and feel their best.
Kerry has been the Cannula Masterclass Tutor with Dr Brian Franks Training since 2017, where her calm and encouraging manner, allied with her experience, enables delegates to feel comfortable and confident to carry out cannula treatments in their own clinics/practices.
Dr. Fab Equizi

Fab is the Module Leader for the Advanced Clinical Practice Module for the MSc Specialist Practice of Clinical Aesthetics Non-Surgical Intervention, City of London Dental School/University of Bolton.
He is one of the UKs leading experts in the field of medical aesthetics and cosmetic enhancement. Fully-qualified and highly-experienced as a medical practitioner, Dr Equizi is dedicated to delivering outstanding results to all his patients in a safe, calm and professional environment.
Dr Equizi’s education and ongoing training is both comprehensive and re-assuring for anyone considering cosmetic facial enhancement. He was awarded the diploma in non-surgical facial aesthetics in 2013 from UCLAN (university of central Lancashire) with distinction. He subsequently went on to be clinical tutor on the course.
A highly-ambitious clinical expert, Dr Equizi opened his own practice in 2007, which became one of the most recognised, trusted and well-respected aesthetic practices in the UK.
Dr Equizi’s training approach is versatile and therefore open to delegates with knowledge and expertise ranging from newly qualified practitioners to cosmetic plastic surgeons.
Dr. Rehanna Beckhurst

Rehanna qualified as a dentist in 2003 from Riga Stradins University, achieving Masters Degree in Dental Science. She always had a profound interest in cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic medicine. She qualified as a medical aesthetics practitioner in London in 2012 and is continuously attending courses and conferences to learn new techniques and improve her knowledge and skills as both: a dentist and an aesthetician.
Rehanna has recently obtained a Level 7 APEL in aesthetic non-surgical interventions and a postgraduate certificate of City of London Dental School University of Bolton and is now an MSc intern in ANSI course. She is also the South West Tutor for Dr Brian Franks Training
She was originally the 1st practitioner in North Devon to be accredited by the Save Face.
Rehanna has worked in Europe and Middle East over the past years, and now patients from all over the world and from up and down the country travel to North Devon to have treatments with Dr Rehanna.
Rehanna is also a member of ACE group world (aesthetic complications expert group), and is highly trained in dealing with aesthetic complications by some of the country’s leading experts, and is accepting referrals from other doctors to treat aesthetic complications.
Susan Langridge

Susan is the Founder & Clinical Director of Chelsea Medical & Aesthetic Clinic and Academy.
She is a leading practitioner of facial aesthetics, both in the UK and internationally. After qualifying in 2006 as a nurse, Susan went on to work in the Emergency Department of many well-known teaching hospitals such as the Royal London, The Homerton University Hospital, Croydon University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth London.
She originally trained as a nurse, and has a thorough understanding of facial anatomy and physiology. Susan began her aesthetics training in 2014, receiving extensive training from the biggest companies in the industry. She is a well-known and respected practitioner within the aesthetics industry. Susan is a senior advanced nurse practitioner where she practices minor surgery, as well as non-surgical procedures.
