  • Can I bring my Practice Manager or Nurse along to the course?
We welcome and encourage you to bring along a Practice Manager, Nurse or Receptionist to observe free of charge. It is critical that you have support when back in clinic / practice and the more knowledge they have, the more assistance you will have promoting your new patient services. We allow you to bring up to 2 people from the practice to observe. Practice Managers and Nurses will also be awarded a CPD certificate and if they wish to train how to nurse for facial aesthetics practitioner, this can be included in the training session and appropriate certification will be awarded.
  • Do I need to supply my own models?
It is advisable that you bring your own models. Often the Practice Manager, Nurse or Receptionist will make for suitable models and benefit from a treatment. By bringing your own model, this allows you to perform a 2 week review of the patient, therefore experiencing the full 360° treatment. Also if you decide to progress your training to the Level 7, these patients can also form part of your case study submissions. Sometimes delegates offer to be models for other delegates too – often to experience the treatment themselves in order to provide any new patients with an accurate idea of how the treatment will feel and potentially allay any concerns. If you cannot find a model, then we can provide one, given appropriate notice to do so.
  • Are materials supplied on the course?
Yes, all materials required for the hands-on practical are supplied by us.
  • Do I have to complete the modules in a set period of time?
No. Some delegates prefer to start with one module, practice and then move on, whilst others like to complete the set of foundation courses in one 3 day session. There is an option to complete Foundation and Advanced Botulinum Toxin (BOTOX®) training in a 2 day session if you wish. It is recommended to spend some time treating patients after completing the Dermal Filler Modules 1 & 2 before moving onto advanced Dermal Filler Modules 3 & 4.
  • Can I complete modules one at a time on an ad-hoc basis?
Yes, even the 3 day courses can be split into individual modules. Choose the dates that suit you and your practice. We aim to be as flexible as possible to suit the busy clinician.
  • If I can’t make a course would you come to me?
Our training courses have recently been adapted to ensure they fall well within Social Distancing and Covid-19 regulations and protocols. This new methodology also has an additional benefit for the busy practitioner trying to juggle work, personal development and CPD hours. The theory aspect of the training is now completed on-line, via live video link and dates and times can be arranged to suit individuals. This training session is in no way compromised and the on-line, live session allows interaction and questions just as if we were all in the same room! The practical aspect of the training will naturally be done face to face, with one to four students maximum, and if necessary, can be conducted at the practitioner’s own surgery / clinic. If you specifically wish to be trained in your own facility on a one to one basis we can discuss this with you.
  • Do I qualify to attend the course?
We train Dentists, Doctors and Medical Nurses only for Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Fillers. We train international students with equivalent medical professional degrees from their countries.
  • Is it necessary to qualify to Level 7?
It is not currently a necessity to qualify to Level 7 in order to inject, however, with continual scrutiny surrounding the industry, it is important to stay ahead of the game. Governments around the world are starting to recognise the problems associated with sub-standard practice on treatments. With our modules, you will be able to bolt on the Level 7 when you have the time to do so, and this is all based on Prior Recognition Learning. If you would like more information regarding this then please contact us.
  • How many verifiable CPD hours will I attain?
You will receive CPD accreditation with 7 verifiable hours per module. So the 6 modules will equate to a total of 42 verifiable hours.
  • How does Covid-19 effect the delivery of this course?
Our training courses have recently been adapted to ensure they fall well within Social Distancing and Covid-19 regulations and protocols. This methodology, ensures, that Covid-19 protocols are met and, because the theory is done remotely, any changes to lockdown would not affect your pre-booked training session. And, since we are happy to conduct the practical session at your surgery, if necessary, on a one to one basis, again, your training session is Covid-19 proof!
  • How will Covid-19 effect my ability to practice upon return after the course?
Obviously we all have to work within the ever changing government guidelines, however, as a medical professional you will be working out of a medical environment, so your ability to treat patients should remain unaffected. There are of course no guarantees with Covid-19 however!
  • Do you offer Certificated CPD Aesthetic Nursing Training for Dental Nurses?
We welcome and encourage you to bring your Dental Nurse or Assistant with you to observe the theory free of charge and act as your nurse on the hands on practical training. We allow you to bring up to 2 people from the practice and they will also be awarded appropriate CPD certification.
