Chemical Peels

There are various chemical peels which can be used e.g. Enerpeel, Agera peel and LA peels.

LA peels are superficial peeling agents that cause exfoliation and peeling of the outer layers of the skin, leading to the reduction of wrinkles, evening out skin tones. It can also be used for acne prone skin as it penetrates sebaceous plugs leading to better exfoliation of the skin. No anesthesia is required, most patients find the LA Peel acceptably tolerable, and make up can be applied post peel.

Flaking using occurs 2-3 days post treatment, which is easily removed by the NuPeel exfoliating gel. The 3-4 days 'down time' makes the LA Peel an ideal choice for busy men and woman. A series of peels may be recommended for sun damaged or acne type skins. This peel can be used for use in all skin types, although when peeling Asian and Afro Caribbean skin types, particular care is needed.
